An elevated patio provides both a cover for lower barbeque area while permitting the guest a unique view of the canyons and wildlife.
Modern and Historic
A mix of classic Texas History, and modern convenience, the lodge is furnished with Texas cowboy decor and antiques. Rack up a game of pool on our antique pool table, and relax in a hot-tub. We also have a big screen TV. Make sure you spend an evening or two at the "Liar's Pit" telling tall tales around a crackling fire.
Dinner at the lodge is rib-eye loin steaks, cut to your specs. Grilled to perfection.
Observation Deck
Perched at 2204' AMSL, guests will experience the beauty of the Texas Hill Country few ever see. The 24'x38' platform is suspended by natural cedar trees with the 14' elevation giving the viewer an unobstructed view of portions of Bandera, Edwards, Uvalde and Medina Counties.
At night, your view of the heavens is enhanced by an Orion SkyQuest XT-10 telescope. With special advanced arrangements, overnight sleeping is permitted at the observation deck. A massive double fireplace provides warmth for the soul on cool autumn evenings.
The Grotto
A cave in the making. Centuries of erosion have hollowed a special place on the 7 Canyons Ranch. A perfect spot to find the solitude you seek. Read a book, sip your favorite wine, close your eyes. Listen to the water gently splash in its pool below as it seeps from the bluff, continuing it's erosion task.
The Canyons
For the physically fit only, experience hiking if you dare. Climb challenging bluffs with the native and exotic animals. Pull yourself up between tree limbs, careful not to slip as you observe a surprised elk, axis or whitetail deer (available only February through June).
